i'm not sure where to put this, but here goes.

when using dual display, can i somehow set it so that when i set VLC or DVD player or iTunes Visualizer to full screen, the other one doesn't go all black. i'd like to have say the itunes vis on one screen, while working on the other one. or maybe a fullscree movie while having other things going on in the other screen.

any ideas/solutions?? thx.

I have my TV as a second display. Mainly of use for iTunes visualiser while working on somethin else on the main screen as you describe, I couldn't get things to work using the full screen option so I wrote an applescript to start iTunes, move it to the correct position for the second display and make it the correct size so that the visualiser completely filled the second screen. You do end up with a bit of the window on your main screen, but that was the best I've managed so far.

Not at my Mac for a couple of days now, but I can let you have the script after that if you want it (it was actually very simple to write).
