Dual external monitor output for MacBook Pro?

Now that Apple does not make a docking station for the MacBook Pro, what are the options of having 2 external monitors connected to your MacBook Pro?

There was a thread on this that you can find if you search but basically you can either get an application that stretches one screen across 2 monitors or you can use a USB-DVI converter.
