Dual iMacs (27inch 2011 model with 24inch Model)

Hi Guys,
Just got myself the new iMac 27inch (One with Thunderbolt), I have a old iMac (24inch white, 2.16 Intel Duo, 3GBs Ram)...

How would I join these so the old iMac is a Dual screen? What lead do I need?

I don't think you can, you can use the newer iMacs as external monitors but not the old ones (to the best of my knowledge)

Yeah, that's how I understand it too. The ability to use an iMac as an external display only came with the release of the 27" iMac.

That's right. Target display only works on 27" iMacs.

Course he can, use a MDP cable from the 24 to the 27 and just always run your new 2011 imac in target display mode.......

The 2011 iMacs only do target display mode via thunderbolt to thunderbolt.
