Dual-layer question for PB G4 12"

My 12-inch has a Matsushita (Panasonic) UJ-825 burner. I tried to Google this, but the posts I found all talked about BURNING a DL disc. What I'm curious about is whether it can READ burnt DL discs. Thanks in advance!

It should read dual-layer discs no problem. It won't burn them though. Only the 15"-17" last-gen PBs had dual-layer burners in them.
