Hi all,

I've been doing some research on this but it seems pretty confusing. I have a 2008 Macbook Pro with 1 Mini DVI port. My current desk setup is the MBP hooked up to a Dell U2414h via the DVI. I would like to get a second Dell Monitor and just use those two screens instead of the MBP. The Dell U2414h also has a HDMI and daisy chain support but as I understand it that isn't supported for mac.

Is there anything I can do with my limited MBP output options?

I've seen USB to HDMI, but my mac doesn't have USB 3 so I guess this wouldn't be a good option.

I think your best bet is spending cash on a pcie graphicscard adapter foe the expresscard slot, but that would cost more than a new rMBP.
