Dual Monitors and ATV

I have a 2012 iMac. It has an external monitor in addition to the built in.
I'm considering getting an Apple TV.

I know you can send the display from the mac to the ATV. Can you choose which one?

Well, I don't know if Mountain Lion can do just one monitor of your choice, but according to a preview, Mavericks will.

Just so you know. If you are attempting to do this over wifi expect tons of lag. After I fished a ether net cable to the atv it worked ok. Still a bit leggy but passable.
