I'm looking at using some spare NVMe's I have and I was wondering if there was a dual (non-RAID) NVMe USB-C enclosure that would allow me to mount both at once.

I'm not hugely concerned about getting the highest link speed - honestly SATA speed would be fine for the scratch disk type uses I intend - I just want a decently passively cooled enclosure that allows me to use a single C cable to mount two NVMe's.

EDIT: Preferably cheap. I got these drives free so I don't want to spend a fortune actually using them

Well, "cheap" is relative. What's your budget?
like not significantly more than 2x typical 'minor brand but still an actual brand' USB-C NVMe enclosures, $40-ish especially as it doesn't need to be thunderbolt?

I know Yottamaster has what looks to be a dual enclosure but it's a hundred bucks which for me isn't worth it

The default option is going to be two A-terminated NVMe cases and a cheap USB3->C hub with external power, which is less than $30 all in, if messy

Failing good alternatives I'm probably going buy the abovementioned - 2x NVME enclosures and a USB3 hub (and find some rubber bands) early next week.

Someone plz have a better idea...

I have a Yottamaster Dual-Bay NVMe SSD M.2 Enclosure, paid about 40 euros for it. Each nvme has a separate usbc cable, besides that it works perfectly.

Yeah - I saw that, I didn't really see the point except it's a *bit* neater and maybe with the more monolithic aluminium casing, maybe passive cool a bit better. I will consider it again but it doesn't change the fact that I'll have to pair them with a hub.

Just buy a couple of cheap enclosures and be done with it.

Yeah, as I said earlier if there's no drastically better ideas by next week I will go this route of 2x enclosures and a hub. The fact that I can get a properly working USB-C --> 4xUSB3-A hub that can be externally powered by a commodity PSU for $5 is staggering, tho this setup will turn the Mac into Dongle City which is what I want to avoid
