hi all ,

have set up 2 19" widescreen TFT's and i would love it for the main menu bar at the top to stretch all the way across both screens , is there a way i can do this ?

my next questions would be the dock ! can it be placed in the middle of the 2 screens !

Ive tried finding a way to do this with G5's & ACD's but with no luck.
I found a program about a year ago that let you put the dock at the top of the screen, or off center but nothing that can span two screens.

the menu bar only displays on the primary screen..

i've looked for something to do it too, but never had any luck!

it would make my setup look so much better - just does not look right with the menu bar only on one screen.

i'm suprised all them dual screen people out there have not brought this up before .

I'm surprised so many people feel this way...

I actually think it's better the way it is. The idea is to have one primary display and one for your other stuff, at least that's the way I see it. If you wanted to add a page to your bookmarks in Safari and then check the time in the menubar, you've got to look way over to the side. Especially having the dock in the middle of both screens would be awkward to use, but I guess having the dock on only one screen could be sort of artificial...

And as others have said, this would be a huge hack that would have to rework some of OS X's underpinnings and just isn't possible...
