Family members will be travelling with the iPhone XS Max with Dual SIM (DSDS), and their T-Mobile lines have been swapped to the eSIM slot to make space for foreign (voice/data) SIM cards.

When not in range of Wi-Fi, can Wi-Fi Calling still work by making use of the foreign LTE connection instead?

Previously I believe they were able to get Wi-Fi Calling to work by connecting to the hotspot of a secondary iPhone with the foreign LTE...
