Awesome ... I still don't get all the critics who said the web was not a good enough for now platform to develop for the iPhone.... it seems that thus far the possibilities have been endless.

Easy with a cursor, kinda hard with my finger. I wish there was a way to lock the screen from scrolling. I'm still impressed. I'd love to hear some sound. Hogan's Alley next?

These aren't web apps. These are native applications that have been made using tools written and provided by the iPhone Dev team.

This is pretty well made. The touch isn't quite exact, but pretty good for v.1. I hope this is a sign that more fun games like this are on the way.

Duck Hunt is a web app. No hacking required.

It's pretty fun too! The inaccuracies of the screen make it pretty challenging, since you can learn to lead the duck based on its speed, and correct for tap-response time.

I'm impressed!

That'll tech me not to skim read i suppose.

Just had a quick play in Safari looks pretty good.

Would it be possible to use the Wii controllers to act as the zapper (not that i have a wii but i remember there was some app you could use to control your mac with it)

Luckily, I never throw anything away!

I took this photo just now.
When i seen the nintendo screen it made me think of that old duck hunting game from the old nintendo system, the one that you have to slide the power and reset button, and push the cartriges down into the slot. Wow brings back memorys...

So, I'm sitting there at my softball game and another guy who has an iPhone - not a mac guy tell's me he's upset at how "limited the iPhone is." I'm thinking -wth? What do you want it do to? If your gripe is Flash - ok, I'll give you that but aside from that - what? Mass text - would be nice but you'll deal, MMS - I've recieved like 4 in my life and I'm a massive txt'er (over 2k text messages last month). No native games - OMG - are you serious? Is it really that hard to wait the 10-15 seconds for the pretty cool web apps to load. Honesty, I'm sitting here with a powerbook on my right, a brand new HP dual AMD windoze machine in front me and I'm playing Duckhunt on my iPHONE! It's fun, I swear, the only negative reviews for this thing have to be people who had no idea of the pre-imposed/pre-software update of the iPhone. I mean - it's like buying a BMW and wondering why it doesn't beat ferrari in the 0-60 test... Sorry - just had to vent ;)

Did the NES originally slide? I can only remember the push buttons on the NES, sliding on the SNES. I remember getting in so much trouble with my mom when I got off the bus at my friends house so I could play Duck Hunt, and didn't tell anybody. Those were the days...
