Duet Air Gains New Feature That Lets You Use a Mac or PC as a Secondary Display

Neither of these support remote desktop, are as cross-platform compatible, or are very fast (AirPlay is notoriously buggy and slow) among other features. I also think the main purpose is using your Mac as a mirrored display for your iOS device? Not sure why you keep writing this in the comments of every press article about Duet.

for me the speed of connection would be the most important feature (low latency/ good refresh rate). How does the speed compare from a MBP to a 2013 iMac using this app instead of a thunderbolt cable and target display mode? I see lots of talk of speed but so far no hard numbers to compare. I do like the windows support though that is cool.
