Duet question - turning off to use built in iMac sounds

Is there a way you can turn off the duet with the big rotary encoder button to use the built in iMac speakers?

Just looking for an easy way to do this before i bite the bullet... thanks!

No, not using the encoder, but alt clicking the sound menu bar item will enable you to quickly change the output.
