Dull display - 14" M1 Pro 12.1 beta 2

Hey all I noticed my display seems to be not as bright as it was originally. When side x side to my XPS 15 the display now seems a little less bright. Like there is some sort of auto brightness engaged although I have it turned off. Happens in both profiles, 1600 and 500 nits.

**EDIT** Complete system wipe and reinstall of the officially released OS (12.0.1) corrected the issue. Happy days.

yes it is.

Was Night Shift active? The difference in the screens may be more about tint than brightness.

Nope that is turned off also. Odd behaviour for sure.

The new MacBook Pros seem to take after the iPhone 13 with the pink tint on the displays.
