Hey all,
I am using iWeb to make a simple cool looking webpage to stick my music on. I am using it with a .mac free trial. How do I check how much iWeb space I have left? It does say on the homepage tab on mac.com and I cant figure out how to do it on iWeb.

Here is the page: http://web.mac.com/patmian212/iWeb/Site/Home.html I jsut put it up so thre is bound to be a few typos and such but hey its a work in progress:D . I might change theme later on cuz this one is one of the standard ones and it isnt unique.

EDIT: Another completley dumb question. Where is the iWeb file of your site saved on your hard drive?

Wow Im feeling noobular today:eek:

EDIT 2: WOW Im full of questions today:D Is there a way I can check my stats? Hits and such.

I don't know if you can see free space from within iWeb. The way I do it is to go to www.mac.com and click on the head icon next to Account. The 'Storage Settings' tab on that page shows how much space you have allocated to Mail and iDisk (and consequently, iWeb).

I think the pages are only stored on iDisk (i.e. not local hard disk) though I could be wrong. I use iDisk syncing so it could be different for me.

As for stats - you can put a hit counter on your page: Insert > Button > Hit Counter.

to find out how much space iweb has used, click on the entire site name in the site organizer in iweb. then click the inspector. the first tab with the .mac symbol will show you how much space you have used on your idisk.

To check your stats, you must add a hit counter by going to Insert>Button> hit counter. After you've done that, you can check your stats on every page that has a hit counter by logging into the main welcome page of .mac

As for the loacation of the iweb files, they are stored in a temporary folder somewhere before being published, i dont remember where, but i read about on the Apple Support forums.

Thanks guys, great help! Over all a sweet app, but the stat thing is kind of dissapointing.

Another 2 questions:eek:

1. Is there a way to add a guestbook?

2. Is there a way I can get more in depth stats(unique hits and such)?
