how do i refresh a finder window view? i've been rendering
files out of final cut and sometimes they don't show up in
the finder window for the directory i've put them in. if i go
back to final cut and test by starting a re-export, i can see
the file in that view and the dialog will prompt me to ok an
overwrite of the file. at that point i cancel but still can't see
the file in the finder. windows has 'view--->refresh' as an
option and that usually clears things up when something like
this occurs under that os. how do i refresh the view in osx
so these files will become visible? (btw, they also do show
up using the terminal.)

thanks,
BabaG

does a relaunch of the finder jeopardize work in progress?

Relaunching Finder stops all Finder actions: copying files via Drag & Drop, etc.

I'd just use the Refresh app posted above.
