I am absolutely brand new at this Mac malarkey and the computer in my sig has not even been started up since the first day I bought it. Not because there is anything wrong with it, more that to get it running means fighting with the Cable Monster that hides behind my desk.
OK, to the point.
I see lots of posts about using programmes that allow you to run Windows apps on a Mac computer but I can't figure out why anyone would do that. Actually, scratch that. I can think of one reason. That being that places like on-line banking may not be set up for Mac users. So instead of all the issues running windows on a Mac, why not just spend £50 on a windows laptop.
It's like wearing a T-shirt with the slogan... "Chevy Forever" and driving a Buick.
Like I said, I'm new so what do I know? lol
PS ... My Pismo isn't here yet. Maybe tomorrow. 😀
