I will admit.
Given Apple's record on caring for everyone, and this headset is supposed to have EVERYTHING Apple could think of built in, I've very surprised they did not include Eyesight correction into the product.
There are headsets which have this. It's rare but it's been done, and really nice for say a husband and wife. Clipping in and out lenses is much messier.

I fully expect a future version of this to be using the electro-wet lenses.

They may probably have that in future. One could ask why not 'blur' the screens of all their devices of the past half century if it was that simple.

I do hope so, as it will be a major pain, and mean potentially touching magnetic clip on lenses if they continue the way they are showing off now.

Huh? You haven’t watched a keynote then because it show exactly THAT.

Some people just comment for a comment sake … 🙄

The headsets on the market that have diopter adjustment are average at best at dialing in your actual prescription. I have multiple headsets and nothing beats the snap-on prescription lenses.

Ahhh no.
There is no correction for eyesight build into the product.
Just like with the Meta Quest and Pico 4 and many others. You are expected to purchase separate lenses which fit over the headset lenses, either clipping on or with magnets.
There is nothing built into the headset.

It's already been discussed as this may come across as a negative if Apple tries to make a profit for these additional lenses as you are in effect financially punishing someone for their physical disability.

That's because the method can not be perfect ... yet.

I don’t know how corrective lenses work, but I know how reading glasses work—they just magnify—which you can do to your heart’s content with the VP!
