Went from 60Hz to Promotion for the first time [11 Pro max to 16 Pro max]
honestly while yes its smooth i wouldn't make it the sole dealbreaker. myself in my own opinion after 20 minutes of using. while yes its a nice thing to see the screen refresh as fast i have never felt my 11 Pro max slowed down in the screen over 5 years or had a jello-like effect when scrolling [my 8 Plus which is ancient has a lot of this now]

It's much more noticable and better on the iPad Pro personally than it is on the phone because the area where pixels are moving are far larger and thus the drag is more noticable.

supposedly if apple is to-uting apple intelligence it would be a deek move to omit the 16/16 PLus from it by imiting the ram and making it a pro-centric feature that would cause a lot of uproar ... which is why they all got a18/a18+

Esp if it was teased and waved during wwdc a lot.

Hey Everyone,

I currently have an aging iPhone 11 and am considering upgrading to the BASE iPhone 16. It seems like the whole internet is making a big deal about the base model not having 120hz, but honestly I could care less. I don't mind my current iPhone 11 screen, and will be excited to be stepping up from the LCD to the iPhone 16's OLED screen.

But my question is mainly is it a 'dumb' idea to get the base iPhone 16? It seems like everyone is saying to get the iPhone 16 Pro if you want to upgrade this year.

Any feedback / thoughts / etc. would be super appreciated. Thank you!
I have to say, I had a free upgrade this year coming from the 15..... it may be all in my head but i swear this 16 is on another level as far as screen refresh goes. I know they're the same as last year but it seriously feels like its a 120. Very hard to explain but the scroll and load times are lightning .....

ive had a 15plus and pro and honestly photos seemed better on the plus to me and others.. 60 hz is NOT that big of a deal... AO, no that may be an issue for me! LOL
