Duplicate photo(s) in recently added

Can someone explain why when I take a pic I get two of the same picture in my 'Recently Added' folder on ios8b1? I noticed I can use the edit button on one but not the other

Is there something to turn off in settings?

I'd turn off iOS8 Beta 1. The new photo management has a lot of work left on it.

Good point! Good thing I don't take a lot of pics.

Is one the normal version and the other HDR? make sure saving both isn't enabled.
