iPod Duplicate Song problems

I've got many 'duplicate' songs, but when i check the info, they are all pointing to the same place. Is this a problem with sharing a library across three computers, and having each "add a folder" (to update my library) on each machine whenever i add music? How do I delete an entry in itunes list without deleted the song itself?

If you just press DELETE on it then it should ask if you want to keep the file or not. 🙂

Does it not do this already?

yep, some had duplicates that i could delete, and others asked the question.
