Hi,

So the other day I plugged my iPhone in to sync with my mac. Every now and again I open up the photos app on MacOS and import all the new pictures. I don't normally have the photos option ticked to sync in iTunes.

I unplugged my iPhone, then a few hours later I noticed that a number of photos on my iPhone had been duplicated. I contacted Apple Support who told me to check iTunes and I noticed that photos was ticked to sync, I unticked as suggested with the hope my pictures were no longer duplicated but this wasn't the case.

The photos were then removed as soon as I unticked it and sync'd. Now I don't know what to do, Apple support seem to be confusing me even more so thought I'd post on here before I go forward to do anything else.

When I try to delete the duplicates on my iPhone, the trash icon disappears (see attachments) Any ideas, how to get this back to how it was?

Thanks
