Has anyone noticed in the iTunes Folder on my Mac inside the Applications folder it has like 6 copies of each application. Why does it do this and how can you stop it?

yup this happens, i believe its all of the updates. Instead of an application updating its just installing a whole new version of the application. this is annoying.
Interesting....maybe this is a 'feature' - so that if the latest version is buggy, you can use an older version?
