Seems that the more I read about refurb imacs the more I notice dust on the inside of the screen

I have two specs of dust trapped on mine, they haven't annoyed me yet but I'm considering getting suction cups and cleaning it.
Would this be the best approach or sending it in?

I haven't done it and I'm slightly scared to do it

You'll just get even more dust behind there if you pull it off yourself. Either have a Genius do it in their secret back room, or just live with them.

Yea man. Dust is everywhere. During manufacturing, some how a few specks got in there. But if you open that up in your home office or any room in your house it's almost guaranteed that you'll wind up with more specks than you started with when all is said and done.

Sometimes it's better to just leave well enough alone.

I have dust specks too but need to go to the Apple Store anyway for a misaligned screen, so I'll have them remove the dust (but hoping for a full replacement).

I have a speck of dust about the size of 5 pixels within the LCD panel itself. Would this be considered a free warranty repair? I don't want a replacement, this new i7 is otherwise flawless. Quiet WD HD, no yellow, no buzz, no whine, nothing.
