Has anyone had a problem with dust/lint under their matte screen on their MacBook Pro? As anal as I am about keeping the screen clean, I manage to still get dust collecting on the bottom screen edge and I can never completely get rid of it without getting some stuck in the crevice between the screen and the bottom.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem and suffered dust beneath the screen as a result?

You mean between the outer layer of the screen and the screen enclosure? I've had dust collect there, but the gap's wide enough that it takes some large particles to actually lodge in there - anything else will blast out with compressed air. Where I find dust collects is in the speaker grills, it's terrible - once it does get stuck in there for long enough, it stays. It would take surgical precision to get it out.
