DVCam compatible with Final Cut Express?

I'd like to find out if DVCam clips are compatible with Final Cut Express.
I'm using a Sony mini dv Camera for shooting, and
using a Sony DSR 20 deck for importing.

Yes, they are fully compatible. Just make sure you use the correct capture settings in FCE and set the DSR-20 for EE in the menu (which will let the video pass through via Firewire [iLink]).
