I don't think so, looking at the system requirment it says nothing about mac. Not to say it won't work, but I would recommend this one instead

I cannot tell what type of mechanism it is using, however once you find out and post it here it would help.

Since there is a list of what drive mechanisms work with OS X, iTunes and iDVD.

Toast will usually see almost every external CD or DVD burner. 🙂

The problem with that one is that it's double the price. I don't want to spend anymore then $130. What about this one...

Check the makers website and see if it dose work on a mac, sometimes they will say it dose not work (since it dose not have a mac burnning software) but it will with toast.
