So ever since I installed Leopard, I haven't been able to successfully burn DVDs.

I've tried in Toast Titanium 9 as well as Finder and I get errors either way.

For Finder, here's the error: "Burning the disc failed because communication to the disc drive failed. (Error code 0x80020022)"

Any ideas on what the deal is?

The only successful disc burns I've had in Leopard have been images via Disk Utility and music CDs in iTunes.

All other of my burns have failed. So should I take it in? :D

Have you tried creating a new user account and burning the disc from there? This worked for my co-editor Frankie P. at MacYourself.com when he was unable to burn discs in Leopard.
Burning in Finder worked perfectly in the test account I created. It seems to work in my account as well. It used to burn and then choke at verification. The disc was still readable but I like passing disc verification.

I did just update to 10.5.5 though. Thanks!
