i have a dvd that i need to make a disk copy of... is there any program to download that will take and copy a dvd using 1 drive... just copy the disk and then insert a blank one and then it burns... any programs like this? thanks guys. and yes it will be legal copying.

Or even a non-commercial video DVD (like one created by iDVD), which is more like data and doesn't need MTR.

Disk Utility can do this.
File -> New -> New Disk Image from (device).
Then select the newly created image and burn it to a new disc.

No. From Disk Utility. You only need MTR if the disc is a commercial disc and you need to remove CSS.
