Can someone please help me out? This thing is driving me crazy.
I have a Powermac G4, I believe Sawtooth.
I just tried to change the DVDROM to a DVDRW Drive.
Both are IDE/ATAPI.
Anyways, when I plug it in and start it up, nothing comes up. I just get that orange ring on the monitor power button. I take it, it doesn't recognize the drive.
I tried putting the original DVD drive back in and I still get the orange ring. This thing is driving me nuts.
Someone please give me some advice on how to just get my original working again.
