Hi,

I've been given a DVD from Greece of a home video. I need to duplicate it to become region 1. How can I achieve this?

I have mpeg stream clip, mac the ripper, dvd studio pro, roxio toast titanium.

I'm sure one of these can do the trick...

Thanks!!

What Mac do you have? Some Macs can be made to read DVDs from other regions, some can be used to rip and convert, some are hopeless and require outboard DVD drives that can be made region free.

A home video wouldn't be region encoded (only commercial dvds are region coded)

A DVD from Greece will most probably be in the PAL video format. It will play on any mac/pc without conversion, but will need to be converted from PAL->NTSC for a lot of standalone players.

Toast might be able to do the conversion, if not I think mpeg stream clip can.
