Hello🙂

I have just recorded some wedding footage with a Sony DVD-r handicam 92e. I recorded onto dvd-r discs. when I try to put it on my mac it does not work? I would like to edit it all on imovie. My Mac doesn't seem to even recognise that there is a disc in the machine?

Any ideas?

What sort of format does the Sony record in? It's probably proprietary. Does it have a firewire port? Is it DV? If so can you not get the footage that way?

No Camera

I really am not sure what the camera output format is. Unfortunately I don't have the camera to use anymore I just need to edit the footage I have on 8cm dvd-r. do you think there is any other way?

could it be that the discs aren't finalized (or whatever you call it)?
