DVD RAM Drivers for MBP?

Does anyone know of a 3rd-Party driver that allows MacBook users to take advantage of DVD-RAM?
 
I don't think you're going to find that. It's not really a driver thing, or even firmware - I'd say the drive isn't physically capable.

My Thinkpad used to read them. I love DVD-RAM, wish it was more prevalent.
