DVD rejection

Tonight I've been trying to rip my copy of "Once" to my hard drive but for some reason my iMac rejects the DVD!! It doesn't register it or anything, just Ejects after about 5 seconds. I can put other DVDs such as "The Prestige" and it accepts it fine, but others like "The Queen" it rejects as well?! I've never heard of anything like this before, the disks are clean of scratches and work perfectly!

Sounds like your iMac's drive cannot read it. Is it dirty? If so, gently wipe it with a cotton T-shirt from the center straight out to the edge. Go around the DVD to clean the entire surface. DO NOT clean in a circular motion as that can cause more problems.

Had the same problem with a new Combo drive that was installed at the Genius Bar. Ended up going to the repair depot for another drive.

I think mine is going to have to go for a repair as well, now it won't eject my disc!!!
