What is the best way to rip, compress, and burn for DVDs?

How to rip

It is illegal to rip dvd until and unless you rip the dvd's that you own and rip only for your purpose.
There is a program called mac the ripper. just google mactheripper.

I am aware of mactheripper, but it does not compress to < 4.7G.

To me it seems that MTR and DVD2OneX2 is alot faster than Roxio...may just be me though.

DVD2one is 39 euro, which is about $60USD, right? How come I am seeing people say it cost around $30USD? Also, I maybe charged with international fee for my credit card.
