I just got an ipod touch and I would really like to get some of my episodes of Heroes on it. When ever i try to use mactheripper it only rips the first episode and thats it.

I've looked into the program 4Media DVD Ripper and that lets me chose what content on the disk I would to rip from the dvd but the trial version will only do 5 minutes.

Does anyone know of any freeware that would help me out?

Also, when i was using mactheripper, i chose to do a main feature extraction, because that is what i do with all my movies (this is my first time doing a tv series) would doing a full disk extraction be a better idea? And would that make seperate files of each episode?

I am not really sure where to post this so I will be posting it around in different threads (sorry about that)

    Thanks in advance.

DVDFab will cure all your ills. Not freeware, but it's worth what they charge since it does what the advertise it will do.

why not use handbrake? you can encode the files to work for the ipod straight from the dvd

plus you can que espisodes (thats how i get all of my tv shows from dvds)

sorry to ask a newbish question but how exactly would you do that?

I have been trying to do the same thing with various other shows and haven't been able to figure it out...if you don't want to spell it out could you point me in the right direction?

(i apologize for thread jacking btw)

when you insert a dvd that has episodes it first scans the dvd right (as with all other dvds)

then under the "source" there is a "title" drop down where you see multiple say 22min segments. each one is an episode

so what you do is get the first episode in the title drop down, then name it in the destination bar and then hit "add to que" which is at the top (has an icon)

repeat this process with selecting the different 22min segments under the title drop down menu. when all done, simply hit start and youre good to go

of course, handbreak has preset settings for what platform you plan on watching the video

    hope that helps
