hi I have a problem, I would like to rip a DVD but the DVD is messed up and hand brake will not rip it directly from the DVD and when I use MTR first, hanbrake recognizes it but its all messed up when ripping however I can get the files to play using VLC so I can watch the dvd just not rip it. I was wondering if there was some way to rip it/ save it from VLC while I watch it?

ok I figured out how to save from vlc but I cant get the subtitles track, by the way it has 2 tracks and I need the second.

i have had this prob with some movies...they must have some protection that does that. i get around it by unselecting the first chapter. this usually gets around it.😎😎

I don't think that'll work because I know its not copy protection or anything, I know the DVD is messed up, it won't even play on a DVD player, but like I said VLC works. Right now I just need to know how to get the subtitles.
