DVD-ROM removed from new non-retina MBP?

    I hate this design not change, DVD-Rom will be used once a year only, or less.

    Buy the RMBP then?

    Enough people still use them enough to warrant them to keep it in the classic line.

    Thin, new, RMBP has no DVD Drive.

    Thicker, updated, MBP has a DVD Drive.

    I burn CD's/DVD's almost daily so it better not be removed.

    If you hate it so much, take it out and replace it with optibay.

    Just thought I share this with you. If you do not want a optical cd drive in your mac you can always go with a external CD drive. Check out the link below:
