DVD sound problem

I finished a project in Final Cut Pro and exported it to Quicktime then I made a DVD of the project in iDVD. It plays on my computer but when I take the DVD to a PC or a DVD player the sound is not there.
Has anyone have any ideas on this?

Some DVD players have trouble reading Certain discs (DVD-RW, DVD+RW etc.)

Try a completely different style of disc (DVD-R for example)
