DVD SP & BluRay

Hi all.
Is there any intension from Apple to update DVD SP for authoring Bluray discs?
Have you heard anything? I know they HAVE to some day, but is it near???

They don't HAVE to have anything. Apple hates Blu-ray. Do authoring somewhere else.

There's no indication that they have to do anything, Blu-ray is unlikely to be the end format for HD delivery, and may not feature in Apple's plans.

DVDSP will handle HD video however and logic suggests they would want to allow authoring to a domestic standard, which is currently Blu-ray.
