Dvd to dvd burning on an imac?

    Hi there, i've thinking about trying a mac for the first time with the arriving of the new imacs, but i have some doubts about how can i do a couple things.

    I burn a lot of dvds in my actual pc, and a lot of those burnings are dvd to dvd, i mean one optical unit reading and the other one burning. In the case of buying an imac, how can i do something like that?, cause of course i dont think it would be a good idea to abuse the imac internal optical unit with a lot of burning tasks.

    Can i use something like 2 external dvd burners at the same time to do that job?

    Any external dvd burner will work, plugged in via USB or Firewire.

    You can just use the internal drive... just a bit of a slower process - make a Master Image (ISO or DMG etc) on the hard drive and then burn that to a disc. Of course this is, as you said, more work for not only the internal burner but also the hard drive ;)

    Thanks guys for the reply.

    I really dont want to make the internal burner work hard, and since i burn a lot of dvds, i wanted to know if i can have 2 external burners connected for that purpose, one reading and one burning.

    Using a firewire connection would help me somehow vs using usb burners?
