Hey, after reading up on a few things on here last night I downloaded a copy of Mac the Ripper and started ripping a few dvds. Nice and easy!

But what I'd like to do is work with the films in iMovie or Final Cut Pro. I'd also like to extract the audio so I can play with it in iTunes and Garageband.

Any help? :D

i know you can extract audio from any QT Movie. Just go to WINDOW>SHOW MOVIE PROPERTIES>EXTRACT SOUND TRACK. Then save the file as a self-contained file. From there you can either add to iTunes and convert to .mp3 or just drag the .mov file to Garageband or Final Cut Pro.
