Hello, I am experiencing a rather disturbing issue: my Combo-Drive MacMini doesn't "fully" recognize the DVD Movies I throw at it. They are not mounted on the Desktop, but they are viewable in Disk Utility (but not as a proper DVD Video). This means the DVD Player launches, but I cannot play the movies "disc un-readable". What the hell is going on? It reads data DVDs and CDs correclty. The only way I found to resolve my problem is to reboot the machine. Plus, if I leave it on lets say a dozen of hours, I will have to reboot again for the next movie. Very disturbing. Also, I noticed the audio is out of sync. Strange, strange, and strange. Note: I have for example "7.1GB Matshita CD-RW" topping a BLANK (as if there were no progams to read it) icon with the name of my DVD for eg. "STAR_WARS_EPISODE_I". I use commercial DVDs please, I need help. A reboot is painful. Being out of sync too.
