DVI or Display port?

Is there an advantage to using Display Port over the DVI port? To use the display port I would have to use the apple converter and plug my DVI cable into that.

If you're using a dvi monitor, then just use the DVI port. No sense in spending extra money on something you already have.

I agree, if you're only using one monitor and it's DVI just go that route.

I have that going on, and one of the DP ports running to my plasma TV via a monoprice DP-HDMI cable....
