DVI or HDMI

I have the lastest Mac Mini (unibody). Currently I have a Dell ST2310 monitor connected via the mini Display Port with a DVI adapter. Since both the Mac Mini and Dell have HDMI ports, would it make better sense to connect the monitor via HDMI.

Is there any added benefit? I have no complaints with the DVI setup, but before I shell out any money for an HDMI cable, does it have an advantage over DVI?

I'd just leave it the way it is. HDMI is DVI video with audio built in, so it would look exactly the same.
