As the title of this thread, is there a difference?

Apologies if this is a daft question but I haven't bought a monitor in years now and I'm just about to bite the bullet for a display for my new Mac Mini (yay!)

I have seen two very similar monitors one says it has a DVI connection the other DVI-D...What's the difference and would the Mac Mini connect to both?? -Thanks!

The one that claims "DVI" is probably just being a little sloppy with the specifications.

The Mac will probably connect to that one fine. If you really want to know more of the details:

DVI on Wikipedia

It will work. For the LCD end your only concern is single or dual link. If your LCD needed dual link it would have said so explicitly.

Cheers folks

I too also thought it would connect fine but wanted to double check before ordering one today 🙂

The same display is about £40 cheaper online than somewhere else !
