I'm halfway in the process of learning the Dvorak keyboard layout, and I just realized that commands such as copy, cut, and paste (command-c, x, v) will not be based on the Qwerty layout where it's all grouped to the bottom left, but scattered out.

To anyone who switched to Dvorak, have you found it difficult to use those commands? If not, what would your optimal hand/finger positioning be when doing the shortcuts? Is it suggested to remap the shortcut keys via control panel? Since I'll be doing a lot of graphic design work, should I just stick to Qwerty?

Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated 🙂

I've got the same problem. 😕

Edit: I just found the custom Dvorak/QWERTY layout in 10.4. Nevermind my question.
