DVR Help

I'd like to be able to schedule and record shows played through my satellite to my Macbook. I have Dish network satellite and don't currently have a DVR. I'd like to be able to load the recorded shows on my iPhone and iPod as well. Any suggestions? I don't mind spending a little money but really just looking for a basic set up thats simple to use.

Take a look at EyeTV.

IMO, EyeTV is probably the best out there for a Mac, but when you have any type of set-top box involved (like your DISH box), the setup gets a little more tricky.
