The network at my house automatically sets the IP address but the network at work requires that the address be set manually.

How can I configure the advanced network settings so do not have to keep changing the settings every time I switch networks.

Using OS X 10.6.6

Sorry in advance if the question has been answered before.....couldn't find it.

Locations. In System Preferences > Network, click on Locations and Add Location. Have one called work, with the proper settings, and one called home. Then just click on the Apple Menu in the upper left hand corner and choose appropriate location depending on where you are at.

Thank you very much! I had never noticed there was such an option! One more question: Can I set the same static IP to the Airport and the Ethernet connection (it is the same network)?
