iPhone 14 Pro Max Dynamic Island and Text messages

Am I missing a setting or does dynamic island not work for texts? Mine still annoyingly show up on the bottom.

I don’t think dynamic island is intended for general purpose notifications

And it doesn’t seem great for things requiring interaction in general since it’s at the top rather than the bottom of the screen

Dynamic Island for now is working mostly for system notifications and not for content notifications

Thats unfortunate. DI seems great in theory, just not alot of adaptation for it yet.
