iPhone 14 Pro Max Dynamic Island Blur

I’m really liking the Dynamic Island functionality. One thing I noticed when using FaceID to authenticate an app is that the text on the status bar becomes blurry.

Does anyone else see this behavior with their device. Any guess why Apple would do this (if it is by design)?

Yeah same for me, I didn’t notice until now. I can’t really tell if it is by design, maybe it’s to put a slightly bigger focus on the FaceID animation, but I find it weird now that I see it

I think it may be by design.

There’s a design guy on YouTube that broke down the Dynamic Island animations.

When slowed down the animations when say expanding the music app. The icons on the on the left and right of the DI blur as if they’re fading away.
